PRESS RELEASE

After receiving circulars from the Ministry of Health & Social Solidarity regarding the implementation of Law 3868/2010, article 17, and Law 3986/2011, article 45, on the prohibition of smoking in public places and in all workplaces, whether indoor or outdoor, the Directorate of Public Health and Social Welfare of the Regional Unit of Evros, within the framework of its responsibilities, will continue inspections in the above areas for its implementation.

We inform you that the service will check the telephone complaints transmitted to it by 1142 (complaints hotline), but at the same time it will also carry out ex officio checks for compliance with the Law.
