Meeting of the Regional Governor of Athens with the Consul General of Turkey in Komotini

The Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Mr. Christos Metios, met with the Consul General of Turkey in Komotini, Mr. Murat Omeroglou, at his office in Komotini.
The Turkish Consul visited the Regional Governor to congratulate him on his election and to express his wishes for a productive new term in the Regional Administration.
Mr. Metios and Mr. Omeroglou discussed issues of entrepreneurship, trade and tourism and emphasized the need for communication and cross-border cooperation between the AMTH Region and the neighboring Turkish Prefectures on issues of common interest.
Present at the meeting from the Region's side were the Deputy Regional Governor for Finance, Administration and Transparency, Mr. Ahmet Ibrahim, and the regional councilor of Rhodope, Mr. Moultazah Tarkan Moultazah.
