10:15 Price presentation by the Ministry of Finance.

10:30 Official Doxology at the Cathedral of St. Apostle Paul, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan of Philippi, Neapolis and Thassos, Mr. Stefanos, for the beginning of the new year.

12:00 The Deputy Governor of Kavala, after the end of the official eulogy for the celebration of the New Year, will receive wishes from authorities, organizations and citizens in his office, where the Vasilopita cake of the Regional Government of Kavala will be cut.

HOLY THEOPHANIA, SATURDAY JANUARY 06, 2024

 

07:00 – 11:00 Divine Liturgy and Great Blessing of the Waters at the Holy Metropolitan Church of the Holy Forerunner of Kavala (Saint John), officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan of Philippi, Neapolis and Thassos, Mr. Stefanos. Procession exit at 11:00 through Eleftherios Venizelos & Averof streets. Following, at 11:30 the BLESSING OF THE WATERS by the immersion of the Holy Cross on the coastal road (on Averof street) in front of the Kavala Port Authority and the Dismissal at the Holy Church of Saint Nicholas of Kavala.
