
The Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace participated with particular success in this year's "Map of Tastes", the leading wine event in Northern Greece, which took place at the Vellideio Conference Center in Thessaloniki on November 29 and 30, 2025. The presence of PAMT is part of the Region's extroversion strategy, aiming to enhance the recognition of local quality products and further support the region's wine production potential.
This year's event was attended by 14 businesses from Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, representing with professionalism and high quality the wine profile of the Region. Specifically:

PAMT businesses covered the full wine and distilling spectrum of the region, presenting local varieties, new labels, innovative products and the unique identity of each winery.
The "Map of Flavors" exhibition, as an institution, brought together for another year:
• recognized and emerging wineries,
• distillers, importers and distributors,
• equipment, materials and packaging producers,
• professionals and industry personalities from Greece and abroad,
• thousands of consumers with a special connection to the world of wine.
The participation of PAMT upgraded the Region's presence on the national wine map, while contributing substantially to the development of new commercial networks and collaborations.
During the exhibition, the Region's pavilion was honored with their presence by:
• the General Director of Agricultural Economics & Veterinary Medicine, Mr. Sotirios Papadopoulos,
• the Agronomist of the Rhodope Agricultural Development Agency, Ms. Christina Dolaptsoglou,
who made a series of contacts with producers, professionals, journalists and visitors.
As part of the participation, a special Press Conference on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 12:30, in the Colombus Hall.
There, executives from the AMTH Region presented:
• the current state of winemaking in PAMT,
• the special local varieties,
• the productive potential of the region,
• the modern wine identity of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
The attendance of journalists, professionals and visitors was particularly high, confirming the growing interest in the regional wine brand.
Important results of PAMT's participation:
• strengthening the domestic and international promotion of the region's wineries,
• expanding cooperation networks with professionals in the industry,
• promotion of local products to a highly specialized audience,
• strengthening the identity of the Region as an important wine destination,
• increasing awareness of PDO/PGI varieties,
• creating a basis for future trade and export collaborations.
The Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace evaluates its participation in the "Map of Tastes 2025" organization as extremely successful. The dynamic representation of local producers, the successful press conference and the intense interest of the public strengthened the extroversion and image of the Region in the Greek and international wine scene.
PAMT will continue to support actions that promote the quality, innovation and international presence of its products.
