The Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace is completing its initiative for 2025 to co-formulate policies for extroversion and the promotion of local agri-food products, through an open, participatory process of consultation and cooperation with production bodies.

After the meetings at the Professional and Crafts Chamber of Rodopi, the Chamber of Xanthi and the Chamber of Kavala, the fourth working meeting with businesses and bodies in the agri-food sector took place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in the Evros Regional Council, with the assistance of the Evros Chamber.

The aim of the meeting was to jointly formulate extroversion actions, exchange views and proposals for the more effective promotion of the Region's agri-food products, as well as strengthen cooperation. The participants had the opportunity to express their views on the agri-food exhibitions that were held both in 2025 and in previous years. They submitted important proposals for improvement for the more effective promotion of the Region's agri-food products and outside the framework of the exhibitions. New destinations were proposed in markets - countries of interest to the manufacturing sector of the Evros Region. While issues related to the creation of better communication and cooperation networks were analyzed in detail, both between agri-food businesses and the markets and between all the stakeholders involved.

PAMT aspires, through this process, to form a cooperation mechanism, where every business and organization in the agri-food sector will have an active role and a platform to express its ideas and proposals.

The presence and active participation of businesses and organizations constitute a valuable contribution to the formation of the Region's new extroversion action framework.
