Lifting of swimming ban

The Directorate of Health and Social Welfare announces that according to the results of the analyses carried out on the waters of the marine area at the beach of RAPSANIS, the swimming ban that was imposed at the beginning of the month is being lifted. 

In his statement The Deputy Governor of Kavala, Archelaos Granas, underlines that "The competent services of the Regional Unit of Kavala will closely monitor this issue with the aim of ensuring Public Health. The checks and analyses of sea water are carried out at regular intervals along the entire length of the beaches of the Regional Unit of Kavala with the aim of safeguarding the health of citizens."
