With the aim of directly informing citizens, enhancing transparency and continuous communication between the Regional administration and local communities, the Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Mr. Christodoulos Topsidis, begins a cycle of visits to all Regional Units from Monday, July 20, 2026.

Within the framework of the visits, the Regional Governor will present the report on the work implemented during the first 2,5 years of the current administration, while at the same time he will inform about the initiatives, interventions and development actions that have already been implemented or are in progress and planned in each Regional Unit.

The start of the visit cycle will take place at the Regional Unit of Drama, where on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11:15 a.m., in the "Andreas Papandreou" conference room, 3^th floor, Drama Regional Headquarters, the Regional Governor will give a press conference to the local media. Then, in the same place, he will proceed with the donation of defibrillators to the Drama Guard Officers Club and to the Hellenic Red Cross – Drama Regional Department. Subsequently, at 13:00 pm. the Regional Governor will visit the Softex hub, at 14:00 pm. the Drama Dairy Industry S.A. “NEOGAL” and at 15:00 the “BAPANOY-VARANOU” food trade company.

The program of visits continues in the remaining Regional Units as follows:

• Regional Unit of Xanthi: Wednesday, July 22, 2026
• Kavala Regional Unit: Thursday, July 23, 2026
• Regional Unit of Rhodope: Friday, July 24, 2026
• Evros Regional Unit: Monday, July 27, 2026
