Academy – Lifelong learning structure in the Rhodopes Region

The "ACADEMY - LIFELONG LEARNING STRUCTURE OF THE REGION OF EASTERN MACEDONIA AND THRACE", as it is called, is a collaboration between the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace with the Schools of the Democritus University of Thrace and the Technological Educational Institute of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, aiming at Lifelong Learning and Education of citizens and the interconnection of the University Community with society. The program is implemented through a series of lectures by professors of the Schools of the University of Thrace and the Technical Institute of Thrace, which are given free of charge to citizens registered in it.
In each Regional Unit, lectures will be held by Professors and Specialist Scientists of the University of Thessaloniki and the Technical University of Thessaloniki on the following thematic units:
RHODOPI REGIONAL UNIT

All citizens over the age of 18 have the right to register. The selection criterion is the order of priority for registration.

Registration opens 28/11/2016. The application deadline has been extended to 12-12-2016, 15:00. Any changes will be announced in due course.

The ACADEMY is a new innovative action of the AMTH region that enables the citizens of the Region to learn new subjects and gain access to the information society. Lifelong learning is a demand more relevant than ever as it seems to be the only way to address the crisis we are experiencing, which has now expanded into a crisis of principles and values. We hope and work so that this action will receive the appropriate response and we hope that it will thus pave the way for similar initiatives.
