SUMMARY: Decision to electronically send invitations and proposals for meetings of the AMTH Regional Council.

 

     In Komotini today, April 11, 2011, Monday at 18.00:167 p.m., in the conference room of the Regional Unit of Rodopi, in the presence of the Regional Governor Aristides Giannakides, the Deputy Regional Governors: Xanthopoulos Ioannis, Regional Governor of Drama, Nikolaos-Mavranezoulis Georgia, Regional Governor of Evros, Granas Archelaus, Regional Governor of Kavala, Karalidis Fotis, Regional Governor of Xanthi and Damianidis Pavlos, Regional Governor of Rodopi, who were legally summoned in accordance with article 4 par. 3852 of Law 2010/944, the Regional Council of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace convened in a public regular session following the 4/4-2011-167 written invitation of its President, which was served on each Regional Councilor, in accordance with article 2 par. 3852 of Law 2010/XNUMX.

       The duties of the official secretary were performed by the employee of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Ms. Katsikoudi Eleni.

       After a quorum was established because out of a total of 51 members, 50 members were present, the discussion of the items on the agenda began.

     Introducing the thirteenth item on the agenda, the President of the Regional Council of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace brought to the attention of the members the provisions of article 167, paragraph 2, of Law 3852/2010 on the Convening of the Regional Council and

 

                                           INTRODUCED

 

   The invitations to the meetings of the P.S. A.M.Th. should be sent electronically, as well as the written proposals of the issues to be discussed. In this way, the total amount that will be saved per year and as analyzed below exceeds 12.500 euros and of course this method also contributes to the case of issues of environmental interest.

In detail and for one year only, the expenses related to sending by mail the invitations and proposals for the topics for the meetings of the Regional Council, estimating that there will be at least 30, are as follows:

     Following this, it is proposed that the Regional Council decide to purchase 57 laptops, which will be provided for use by the members of the Regional Council until the end of their term. The purchase of these will be amortized from the savings in the first year and a half of operation of the Regional Council, starting from the implementation of the above method of invitations, as well as to examine the possibility of providing wireless internet services in the conference room.

 

 

   The Regional Council of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, after a dialogical discussion and taking into account the provisions of article 167, paragraph 2, of Law 3852/2010.

                          

                       DECIDES UNANIMOUSLY

 

   Approves the electronic sending of invitations and proposals for the meetings of the Regional Council of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
